She is a retired Associate Dean of the School of Nursing of Saint Louis University. Currently, she remains active in research advising and teaching, serving as visiting professor of the Saint Louis University, her Alma Mater, and at the University of the Cordilleras, where she was the founding dean of the College of Nursing. Her recent work includes a CRHRDC-funded research project entitled: Community Resource and Needs Assessment of Stroke in Tuba, Benguet, published in the Acta Medica Journal, and a co-authored research on Mental Health Law in the Philippines: Health Policy Issues Governing Mental Health Promotion Among Filipino Older Adults with Serious Mental Illnesses, published in the Journal of Mental Health and Social Inclusion.
