Privacy Statement

The Nurse Educators and Practitioners Journal (NEPJ) collects and processes personal data provided by users during registration, manuscript submission, peer review, and editorial processing solely for the purpose of operating and managing the journal. This may include names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, and academic information.

Personal data are used exclusively for legitimate scholarly publishing activities, including editorial communication, peer review, publication, indexing, and archiving. NEPJ does not sell, trade, or use personal information for commercial or marketing purposes. Access to personal data is limited to authorized editors, journal staff, and system administrators and may be disclosed only when required for journal operations or by law.

NEPJ implements reasonable organizational, technical, and physical security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Personal data are retained only for as long as necessary to meet editorial, publishing, and legal obligations.

In accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), data subjects have the right to be informed, object to processing, access, correct, and request the portability, blocking, or deletion of their personal data, subject to applicable legal and publishing requirements. Data subjects also have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

By registering with or submitting to NEPJ, users acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of their personal data in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
